Meet the Team

Andy set up MBH Property Developments with Terry following a career with Midland then HSBC spanning five decades.

His thirty seven years with the bank saw him start as a junior and work his way through the ranks in various front line and head office roles. He was appointed as Regional Director North in 2006 and ultimately took responsibility for the UK Branch Network in 2014. Along the way he has worked across the UK and has seen assignments in Asia and North America.

A leader who is at ease with himself and in touch with those around him, he is passionate about doing things right and ‘ in the right way ‘ He takes great pride in nurturing and developing talent and will only accept the best for his people and customers. He has worked with and continues to support a number of charity partners, raising awareness and funds for worthwhile causes.

A native of the South, he was raised and educated in Kingston upon Thames. He has based himself in the North for 30+ years despite many short and long term assignments away from ‘home’ He now feels he is an ‘ adopted Yorkshireman’ which goes down well with the family who are all born and raised ‘ in God’s own county ‘

He is enjoying spending a lot more time locally and being at home with Suzanne,Holly and his two older children Laura and Will who are also returning to Yorkshire after time away.

Terry was born into a family steeped in construction (a family of builders). His late grandfather started the trend continued by every uncle and his dad. A family who do the business “in all weathers”.

Born in South Africa he moved back to “gods own county” in 1999 living in Ripon and being educated in nearby Boroughbridge. 

He qualified at NVQ levels 1,2 and 3 in brickwork and holds an HNC in construction management.  With nearly 20 years experience in the industry Terry has an excellent all round knowledge and ability to provide colleagues and clients with effective solutions.

He prides himself on the quality of his and the teams work but more importantly the service provided to customers. 

He has relished working in the new business over the past couple of years and the chance it provides to help the people he cares about.
